Fisher-Price Winnie The Pooh Soft Blocks

A friend bought these as a baby shower gift and they stayed packaged up until Lily reached the age where she had begun to pick things up and explore them with her hands, fingers - and mouth, of course!

Pooh bear is a firm favourite with most little children and Lily certainly seems to have been taken with these blocks. Right now she seems pretty content with banging them together or using them as teethers. I try and build her all sorts of constructions, but they are soon bulldozed down by Lily's hands!

This colourful block set comprises six soft blocks, all featuring one of Pooh's gang of friends, as well as a little soft Winnie The Pooh figure. As they are made of plastic, they are easy to clean and have doubled up as little bath toys (although it's worth remembering to squeeze the bath water out that they collect during bath time!). The only thing I would say is that they do tend to have quite a strong plastic pong and despite washing them time and time again, the smell is still there.

I am sure Lily will eventually get to the stage where she will enjoy building with these blocks, as opposed to eating them. For now, as long as she is enjoying playing with them I guess it doesn't really matter how she plays with them.
