Light and Sound Drum

Light and Sound Drum

From an early age, Lily has loved music and so it made sense for us to buy a few little toys for her that built on this love. We came across this little drum in our local Early Learning Centre and it immediately appealed. The drum has three modes of play, including four demo melodies, three silly sounds and a free play action. Coloured buttons around the side of the drum activate each different mode and the music/sounds are further set off when the top of the drum is tapped (or in Lily's case it's often banged on by whatever toy she has in her hand!). The top of the drum flashes lights to accompany the music and sounds.

The great thing about the drum is that it's not only fun to play when its static. When the drum is rolled around the room, little uns are treated to sounds and flashing lights too. Lily was certainly fascinated by this element when she was a crawling bubba although admittedly now she is walking, she prefers to sit at the drum and perform to us!!

The drum has obviously been designed to stimulate the senses of our little people as well as improve hand and eye co-ordination and it certainly seems to be doing both for our daughter.
