Stacking Cups

lily's stacking cups

They are probably one of the cheapest toys you can buy your little un but Lily has had endless fun with hers since she received them on her 1st birthday. She loves trying to put the right ones inside each other, building (but mainly knocking down) cup towers and as her imagination is starting to flourish, she also likes to pretend they are drinking cups. With regards the latter, if your small person shows a similar penchant for pretend drinking, be aware that they may take it one step further and actually pour some of their actual juice/milk into the stacking cup. As  most stacking cups have holes in them, the result is juice spilt everywhere!!

Playing with the cups, we also help teach Lily counting and colours and it is thanks to one set of cups that she has that Lily now says 'star' perfectly!

We have a set of cups that Lily also uses in the bath as she loves watching the way her bath water comes out of the bottom, so it's clear that these deceivingly simplistic toys are actually pretty versatile.
